The final round of the NFCC Road Bikes Time Trial Series took place on the P163 course near Lymington on Tuesday Evening. Eleven riders crossed the line and all managed to clock times within an eight-minute window.

The Home Club’s Sien van der Plank took line honours once again as the fastest woman in 28m10s with Dave Dent of GS Stella the fastest man in 25m14.

The Road Bike Series has been hampered this season with three of six events cancelled due to circumstances beyond the Club’s control, but one rider managed to win the two events they took part in, and scored maximum points by marshalling at the final round, leaving them top of the results table to take the overall series victory… Congratulations go to Ben George as the 2023 NFCC Road Bike TT Champion. An honorary mention also goes to Phil Grant, Mark Cowling, Sien van der Plank, Barry Hards, and Bev Hards for supporting all three of the rounds that went ahead.
