Mild and blustery conditions greeted a select bunch of six NFCC time trialists for an interclub with Bournemouth Arrow CC on their home course, P311. What was reported by the organising club as a “gentle WNW” after the event made the return leg of the out-and-back style course much harder than expected. 

Phill Brown was the NFCC rider with the fastest time on the night and finished third overall in 23:33 – slower than the last time we were on this course and he had no excuse tonight! NFCC’s Sonia Laurie was the fastest lady on the night, finishing in 25:58. 

It was Jonathan Chadwick who was the real achiever for NFCC yesterday, giving a “full gas” effort and recording his first ever sub-25, crossing the line in 24:58.
