Sunday Club Ride 27th December 2020.
Meet as usual in Brookley Rd car park at 8.50 for a 9.00 A.M start.
Barry and I have been scrutinizing the new guidelines and what being in tier 3 might mean for the weekend club rides.
For now it’s mostly good news. In most regards we can continue as we have been doing, meeting and riding in groups of 6 or fewer, no guests, joiners on route etc.
Downsides are that we have to stay within New Forest boundaries (not an issue on the Sunday rides), Any coffee stops will be limited to take-outs and for a few the biggest change is that those living in Tier 4 will not be able to join club rides for now. As 2020 sucks it will be no surprise that at present the forecast is meh, possible high winds, rain and cold. Keep and eye on the forecast and this space in case it becomes unsafe to ride.
