Sunny conditions welcomed riders to the final road bikes series event on P163 from Norleywood for the 2024 season. Visiting rider Paul Martin (Wight Tri) was the fastest rider on the night, clocking 24m34s – but he was on a TT bike. Fastest road bike rider was NFCC’s Guy Smith in 25m52s with NFCC’s Sien vdP the fastest woman and fourth fastest overall in 26m54s.

The overall series is scored with points for a rider’s four best finishes counting towards their overall position. Guy Smith’s trio of fastest times from events 2, 3, and 6, paired with his third place finish at the first event left him just two points off a perfect score for the overall series victory. Despite Joe Oatley achieving the highest tally of points across the series, his best four left him five points adrift in second place, and James Noah clinched third overall with 49 points from his best 4 events.

Sien vdP was the highest placed woman overall with 45 points, Bev Hards taking the runner-up spot with 25 points, and Elouise Knight in third with 18 points.
