Usual meet at 0850 for a 0900 depart from the main car park in Brookley Road, Brockenhurst where we will split the group into smaller pelotons as appropriate. As it was last week weather forecast is not great, but thankfully a little lower on the Phil Harris misery index, so going to repeat last week’s route and plan.

It will be about 2.5 hours to the coffee stop at Setley Ridge and then a look at the weather forecast to decide on a second 2 hour loop or a tactical retreat like last week. Forecast for the afternoon is a little better than last week so fingers crossed we can get the full 115Km in.

For those staying out longer and needing further refreshments there is an open garden with coffee and cake at 7 Chestnut Road (off Sway Road) in Brock from 1300-1700. Event is a fundraiser in aid of New Forest for Ukraine.

Hope to see a few more than the 10 brave souls who turned up last week.
