Meet at 0850 for an 0900 depart from the main car park in Brookley Road, Brockenhurst.

This week a lumpy 116Km ride to the north.

At the time of planning the ride, the weather looks dry for the next few days so going to take the chance for what might be our last chance for a ride out of the forest for a while. Plus, it’s half term so getting away from New Forest traffic is appealing.

As a special treat with the roads being dry and the forecast dry there is a one-week mudguard amnesty this week. So if you want one last hurrah on the summer bike this is your chance. You have my word that nobody will be in the barrel this week for lack of mudguards.

Coffee stop will be at the Community Café in Broad Chalke at the 56Km mark. Second coffee stop if desired at route end at The Absent Pony in Brock.
