Meet at 0850 for an 0900 depart from the main car park in Brookley Road, Brockenhurst. Please make the effort to arrive at 0850, it is very disruptive to have riders turn up around 0900 after we’ve got into groups especially after some riders have been kind enough to ride in a different group to their preferred one to help balance the groups.

Good news for some is that the unseasonably dry weather has prevailed and looks good all the way to Saturday, so the mudguards diktat is suspended for another week. Can’t imagine it lasting any longer though.

After the recent trips to the north, this week is a forest ride to take in the splendour of the autumn leaves whilst they last.

Planned route is 120Km with an easy option to dodge the last 20Km as we are close to Brock before taking a detour to the east.

Coffee stop planned for The Potting Shed at the 56Km mark. Optional second coffee stop at the end at The Absent Pony outside Boost for the caffeine dependants.
