Usual meet at 0850 for an 0900 depart from the main car park in Brookley Road, Brockenhurst. This week we have the bonus of yet more sunny weather and great riding conditions. But also, the challenges of local roads being very busy plus a large sportive on the forest roads. So, the plan this week is to head out of the forest and visit the Chalke Valley.

The ride this week will be our first long one of the year at 156Km with over 1300M of climbing so be prepared for a long day. Coffee stop planned for the Community Shop in Broad Chalke at the 57Km mark, where there will be a choice of a shorter direct route home for those who don’t want such a long ride. This will make a 121Km route with options to cut short even more if you take the direct route back from Moyles Court.
