No TT report this week because I was on holiday. Hopefully the event confusion resolved itself, I’m not sure what went on based on the Facebook posts.
In the Bournemouth Arrow Good Friday 10, Paul Lockyer was best placed NFCC rider in 4th with a time of 21:34; Ray Claridge 16th at 22:53; Stuart Peckham 26th at 23:30; Bob Jolliffe 67th at 29:07.
Bob also travelled to the CC Weymouth Easter 10 for 29th place with 29:34.
This weekend saw Aron Kelly claim 5th place in the BDWCA 25 at Poole with a 56:55.
Meanwhile Stuart Peckham and Antony Green rode the Wessex VTTA championship 50 on the (absolutely shockingly poorly surfaced) Bentley course. Stuart claimed 38th and 23rd Vet in 2:03:59 and Antony claimed 14th and 4th Vet with 1:53:15. Why would anyone do a 100 on this course, it gets worse every year!
Remember to let me know if you want your result mentioned, I find a few on the CTT and Eammon’s site, but am always likely to miss some.
A very good evening on the course, traffic was light with a few donkeys for some, and a helpful tail wind up the dreaded finish climb. Stuart Peckham (23:28 and 18th overall), Ray Claridge (22:51 and 10th overall) and Antony Green (21:24 and 3rd overall) made up the team, unfortunately Paul Lockyer was a non starter […]
