2018 Velothon Wales 140K Team Race Championship Male & Mixed.
“Delighted to report that the NFCC came an impressive 8th out of 268 teams at Velo Wales. Well done to the 4 club riders who scored points. Lyndon Thompson, Neil Stevenson, Raymond Claridge and Phillip Grant considering that Ray dropped a chain, Lyndon had a flat tyre and Phil was on the edge of heatstroke that’s quite a performance.”
Phillip Harris, Matt Cafferky, Adam Conti, Bill Mayes, Robert and Matt Veal also rode the Velothon, but didn’t qualify for the team standing. Matt reported that the team were actually only 20 seconds off 6th place.
Several NFCC riders rode the Poole Wheelers 10. Catherine Pascoe (26.48), Bob Jolliffe (26.08) Stuart Peckham (21.57) and Antony Green (20.07).
