Congratulations to NFCC rider Stephen Skinner, who over the weekend rode the Newbury RC 12 hour TT. Stephen completed a whopping 234.12 miles in the 12 hours, a herculean effort if ever there was one. Stephen had to wait for a few days for his distance to be confirmed as his cycling computer packed up after 6 hours of riding so had no idea about the distance he had covered, and had to wait for a few days for confirmation. Rather disappointingly, Stephen did not participate in the club’s 25 mile TT on Tuesday evening….something about a bit of fatigue after riding over 230 miles over the weekend. Chapeau Stephen!
