Overwhelming NFCC numbers, boosted by a welcome return to some members who focus their racing elsewhere, plus the Hards family, meant that the NFCC would have won the round. However perhaps with a new format and a specific date next year the competition will be a bit more fair. Crabwood only fielded the same number of riders as the visiting Fareham Wheelers contingent.
A very warm evening but with storms holding off, conditions were not conducive to super fast times but a number of riders were under or near to the 23 minute mark. Paul Lockyer again showed his speed, but Gary Lock on a long distance triathlon training program, wasn’t far short of Aron Kelly .
