New Forest CC had a stand at the Primera Cycle Expo at B.I.C. on Saturday to publicise the club and hopefully attract some new riders.
Several club members helped to man the stand and answer questions from prospective members.
The steady flow of visitors to the stand obviously weren’t put off by the scary bunch in this photo. One new member joined on the spot (welcome to the club Mark David Hill) and there was a lot of interest, mainly centred on the group rides. Around 60 information leaflets were taken and in the words of Phil Underwood ‘I think the aim of raising the club profile a bit has been achieved. The Expo certainly appeared to be a success and it was enjoyable to view the bikes I can’t afford‘.
Congratulations & thanks to everybody that gave their time to the club, particularly to Phil for leading the project.
