New Forest CC held the penultimate round of Time Trials in the ever popular 10 series on Tuesday night. The event was run on the P303 course which starts just south of Ringwood, heads to Sopley to Bransgore and concludes near Crow, and 31 riders participated. A stiff blustery South Westerly wind led to challenging conditions heading south bound to Sopley. Once again Ben Boardman was the rider to beat as his class once again prevailed in a high class field. Ben completed the course in 22:57, to virtually tie up the Division 1 championship. Sasha Ring, again had to play second fiddle to Ben, but held of the duet of James Bannister and Stewart Ward by a mere handful of seconds. Stewart Peckham and Nicholas Buck made up the top six, but could not be separated in time, finishing with the same time of 24:42. Johnny Brooks took a good victory in Division 2 ahead of Alex Setchell, who closed the points gap on division leader Peter Trunwit to 3 points. Chris Mills maintained his dominance in division 3, breaking the 30 minute barrier ahead of Paula Eardley in second and Peter Hawker in Third.
