New Forest CC covers a huge area and our membership is spread far & wide.
On Saturday a training group rides from Brockenhurst, led by the Club Coach Barry Wootten will generally be a 60+ mile, 18MPH average ride. Some of the routes allow riders to do a shorter ride as they are often loops of the forest.
Once a month during the summer months this will be changed into a slightly slower day ride of circa 100 miles.
Most rides will incorporate a coffee stop roughly half way.
Visitors are welcome in all of our groups but please contact the ride leader first in case there’s been any late changes to the information below.
The starting point for all the rides will be the main car park in Brockenhurst. The entrance to the car park is opposite the Tesco store in Brookley Road. This car park also offers toilet facilities
The intended route usually gets published each Thursday evening or Friday morning on Barry’s Blog.
If you’re planning to join the ride please contact the ride leader on firstname.lastname@example.org or 07711 631826

Seven riders braved deceptively sunny but very chilly, windy conditions. Barry Hards in full TT kit came home in first place, Phil Jones the only other rider to come close to his time. George Weller (Junior) took part in his first TT and chose a tough day to do so. See Gerry’s photos in the […]
In spite of a good number of volunteer marshals, the wind prevented the first club TT of the year taking place due to a fallen tree on the course. Hopefully the weather will improve for next weekend.
